It was not long ago that I came to a sad realization:

I have more imaginary friends in video games than I've ever had real friends at any point in my life.

I think that's kind of sad, don't you? (Heck, who am I even talking to right now?)

Right. If you're about to start reading a blog about my life, you're going to hear now and then about video games; I go through RPGs the way that some people read books. I play puzzle games and find my mind pondering on other things while I do, so sometimes I play puzzle games as a kind of meditation. I fight alongside Nintendo heroes when I want to feel inspired. And sometimes I pick up old games from my past to feel both a sense of nostalgia and a sense of renewed wonder.

Verily and stuff, I'm sure I'll keep writing about stuff like that. (I really, really need to follow up on my promise to write about the Moon Children from Majora's Mask. Come on, TAB III! It's been four years already!)
